What this is

doesntgiveafuck.com rents you a subdomain (yourname.doesntgiveafuck.com) with one page on it: a photo, some words, a list, some links. It's for entertainment purposes only. Nothing on any page is a statement of fact, a review, advice, or an offer of anything. The site, the default headings and the preset lines are jokes. Treat them that way.

Your content, your responsibility

Everything you put on your page is yours and your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to use the photo and the words, that your page doesn't break any law where you are, and that it isn't about a real person in a way that harasses, defames, threatens, or exposes them. In particular, don't post:

• anything illegal, or that helps someone do something illegal;
• harassment, threats, hate directed at people for who they are, or content targeting a private individual;
• sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content of a real person without their consent;
• impersonation of a real person, company, or official body;
• someone else's private information, such as an address, phone number, or financial details;
• malware, scams, spam, or anything built to deceive.

We can take any page down

We reserve the right to remove any page, or any part of it, at any time, for any reason, without notice and without a refund. That includes content we find illegal, offensive, risky, or simply not in the spirit of the site. We may also block a name from being bought again. If you think a page breaks these terms, email support@doesntgiveafuck.com with the link.

No refunds

All sales are final. Pages are cheap and delivered instantly, and we don't refund them, including when a page is taken down for breaking these terms, when you lose your management key, when you change your mind, or when the name you wanted turns out to be taken between checking and paying. If a purchase genuinely failed to create a page, email us and we'll sort it.

Terms, names and expiry

You're renting a name for the term you paid for. Depending on the plan, the page may stay up after that until someone else buys the name, at which point it's gone and the new owner starts fresh. Yearly owners may switch on auto-renew; it bills $19.99 / year each year until cancelled in the billing portal linked from your edit page. Names on our reserved list can't be bought. We may reclaim a name that infringes a trademark or impersonates someone.

Your management key

Your page is controlled by a key we show you once after purchase. Anyone with the key can edit the page. We only keep a hash of it, so we can't recover or resend it. Lose it and the page stays as it is until the term ends.

What we store

What you type into the edit form, the images you upload, the name you bought, when it expires, and the email address Stripe gives us with your payment so we can identify you if there's a problem. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never touch us. We set one cookie, only inside an edit session, and none on public pages. We don't sell or share any of this.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as-is. We don't promise it will be available, error-free, or that link previews will look a particular way on any platform. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months. We aren't liable for what other people put on their pages.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms by updating this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA. Questions: support@doesntgiveafuck.com.
